How it works

You ask. You watch. Nothing ships unseen.

Refinar is built around one rule: the AI never works on your live site. This page walks the path every request takes — from the moment you describe a change to the moment it reaches your customers.

The path of a change

Six steps, and a check before anything ships.

01

Connect your repository

Refinar connects through GitHub and can read only the projects you choose. Your code stays where it already lives — nothing is moved or copied out — and you can remove access at any time.
02

Ask for a change

Describe it in plain words, or click the exact button, heading, or section you mean in the preview. Either way, Refinar knows precisely what you are pointing at.
03

It works on a private copy

Your request runs against a private copy of your app, booted from your own repository and reaching only the services you connect — Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, and 70+ more.
04

You watch it happen

A live preview updates as the change is made, so the thing you approve is the change itself, not a description of it.
05

Guardrails sort the change

Safe changes — copy, layout, styling, additive UI — can go live in seconds. Anything that could affect sign-in, payments, or data access is held for a person.
06

A developer approves the rest

Risky changes wait for a developer — yours, or ours, within 4 hours on business days. Every change is saved separately, so you can return to the previous version in one click.
Where the work happens
